Community Partners Honored by PCA Louisiana Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Prevent Child Abuse (PCA) Louisiana honored representatives of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, the Credit Bureau of Greater Baton Rouge Foundation and Louisiana Network, as well as agency volunteer Kay Foreman during their annual Retreat, which was held February 9 at the Louisiana Bankers’ Association Building in Baton Rouge.

Mike Reitz, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, was recognized for the insurance company’s donation of $30,000 to PCA Louisiana over three years.

Credit Bureau Chief Executive Office Layne McDaniel was recognized for their donation of $64,000 for PCA Louisiana’s hurricane aftermath relief efforts.

Kay Foreman was honored for the 1,230 hours she served answering KIDLINE, 1-800-CHILDREN, the agency’s crisis, support and information referral telephone line.
