Prevent Child Abuse America sends message of prevention to U.S. Congress

As the United States marked the beginning of the 110th Congress last week, Prevent Child Abuse America delivered to leaders of the U.S. House and Senate a petition signed by thousands of concerned citizens.

The petition states:

"We believe that the prevention of child abuse and neglect is a national priority. We believe that Congress should take a comprehensive approach to prevention that supports all parents and families so that they can provide healthy, safe and nurturing environments for children."

In addition, a message was sent to every member of the U.S. Congress alerting them to the overwhelming support the petition received.
