PCA Louisiana believes that true change happens at the grassroots level.  We are involved in local coalitions around the state to help identify local issues and advocate for change.

Local coalitions that meet reguarly are:

• The Northeast Children's Coalition in Monroe
• The Bayou Region Children's Coalition in Houma
• The Greater Baton Rouge Children's Coalition
• The Task Force on Child Abuse in New Orleans
• The Alexandria's Children's Cabinet
• The Children and Families' Action Network in Lake Charles

If a region does not have a formalized children's coaltion, we use our quarterly networking meetings sponsored by the Louisiana Children's Trust Fund to organize.  To receive notifications of these meetings, please send an email to prevent@pcal.org indicating your city and email address.
