In 2007, PCA Louisiana achieved the Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) Standards of Excellence.

These standards create a uniform language for addressing nonprofit organizational excellence and describe how nonprofits should act in regard to ethics, accountability and nonprofit management.
