What We Do
PCA Louisiana maintains on-going Advocacy efforts designed to achieve public and private sector policies and programs aimed at child abuse and neglect, ensuring a strong, statewide voice for children in our state. PCA Louisiana is the lead organization in the YouWho Coalition, a collaborative effort to impact policies that affect children.
PCA Louisiana also develops and maintains ongoing partnerships with various agencies throughout the state, working to create and implement programs for families.
PCA Louisiana annually coordinates the efforts of over 1000 volunteers and professionals statewide to assist in initiating and implementing programs. These programs are designed to assist families in reducing the liklihood of abusive and/or neglectful behavior.
